My leading manufacturing focused organisation is looking to appoint a new Supply Chain Product Owner to take ownership and manage the complete Supply Chain and Planning environment. This person will have close contact with centralised IT and Project teams to lead the support, continuous improvement and change programme moving forwards.

Key Skills & Experience: 

• Strong background in supply chain focused business applications
• Previous experience in supply chain / warehousing / manufacturing businesses
• Team management experience and managing 3^rd party suppliers
• Managing budgets
• Senior Stakeholder management experience
• Application support experience – preferably leading/ managing teams

Main Responsibilities:

• Define a support model for supply chain and planning systems
• Manage 3^rd line support for supply chain systems; internally and by 3^rd parties
• Manage relationship with 3^rd party suppliers
• Build, maintain and deliver a continuous improvement programme
• Capture, manage and deliver Supply Chain focused small change requests
• Manage opex and associated costs with Supply Chain and Planning
• Set up appropriate controls and policies to protect the SC&P environments
• Configuration Management in UAT and live environments
• Build and maintain a roadmap for the SC&P environment

Location: Leicester
