Our client is seeking a highly motivated application developer that has a minimum of 10 years of experience with the JDE platform, to join their team. An ideal applicant should have experience designing, developing and implementing business applications for the JD Edwards platform.
Applicants must have experience in developing solutions for mobile devices running on Windows, Android or iOS operating systems, as well as developing interfaces between JD Edwards and external systems.
Key Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in ERP Implementations and knowledge and experience with multiple JDE modules
- Experience working with Business Services & Orchestrator is essential
- Experience with JSON/REST services would be an asset
- Experience with Object-Oriented languages such as C# & C is essential
- Experience manipulating data in traditional SQL databases such as SQL Server, which we use, Oracle, and DB2 which we use extensively, would be useful
- At a third level, any experience with IBM i (also known as System i, iSeries and AS/400) would be useful.

Responsibilities:
- Development of new features in JDE, C core systems etc.
- Support for interfaces to the back-end ERP, using mainly C# and .NET
- Development and support of new Android mobile device applications in Java, for use in warehousing and operations
- Use of databases SQL DB2, Microsoft SQLServer
- Creation and maintenance of JSON/REST services, and some Windows services
- Good experience in JDE Integration with Third Party Software
- Provide technical documentation to support all development
- Support of production systems and problem-solving where these relate to core development or technical software issues
- Server-side programming (IBM I / AS/400) and support of interfaces between JDE and other systems
