Our end user client are seeking a Dynamics CE Functional Support Consultant to join them on a permanent basis. Initially the role will be focussed on supporting Field Service, but within the next 6-12 months will play a key role in the implementation of Sales & Marketing.

The role can be completed on a primarily remote basis (candidates must be UK based and eligible to work without requiring sponsorship).

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience of providing 1st line support for D365 CE
  • Desire to further skills/experience with D365 CE
  • Strong communication skill
  • Strong communicator, able to manage the team in adoption of standard product, where possible.
  • Good understanding of technical documents and business rules, requirements gathering, definition and validation
  • Great problem solving and organisation skills
  • Experience with DevOps is preferred
  • Working knowledge of Power Platform is preferred
  • Desire and enthusiasm to support and advocate business users with the D365 platform

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support business in identifying and diagnosing issues in Field Service, Power Automate, Logic Apps and Dual Write, collaborating with the IT team members to propose solutions and fixes.
  • Implement solutions to assure integration between F&O and CE are achieved.
  • Analyse business process to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Document new or existing requirements, detail them in functional design documents and implement solutions in D365 CE.
  • Optimise current solution and manage requests for new functionality alongside the business
  • Propose the best solutions that could minimise system customisation and support adoption of new functionality that is introduced with platform updates. Identify new potential integrations that could streamline process.
  • Identify requirements and write design documents for any reports that the business require.
  • Support business with testing of new capabilities and regression testing of platform updates
  • Collaborate with data, security, reporting teams for daily support queries
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders from the business
  • Provide ad-hoc support for some of the business IT applications

Location: UK Remote
