D365 F&O Solution Architect – Solution Architect, D365 F&O, Dynamics 365 F&O, FinOps, F&SCM, FSCM, Finance & Supply Chain, Architect, Lead Consultant, Finance, Production, SCM, Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Procurement – Dallas – $160-$190K
Our industrial manufacturing client is looking for an experienced D365 F&O Solution Architect to join them on a full time (permanent) basis. The role will be responsible for ongoing implementation work, system optimisation, leading a team of functional consultants, and driving the future D365 F&O strategy.
The position will typically require 2-3 days per week on-site in Dallas.
Responsibilities:
- Own the overall quality and integrity of D365 solution designs across assigned projects and initiatives.
- Provide architecture guidance to D365 Functional Leads, technical teams, business stakeholders, and implementation partners.
- Lead the ongoing development and refinement of the D365 template, including standard processes, configuration principles, integration patterns, controls, reporting expectations, and reusable project deliverables.
- Support project teams by providing guidance on solution design, requirements interpretation, integration impacts, and cross-functional decisions.
- Provide input into D365 F&O roadmap planning, platform optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Evaluate D365 capabilities, ISV solutions, integrations, and related technologies that may provide business value.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).
- Demonstrated experience acting as a Solution Architect, Lead Functional Consultant, Solution Lead, or Architecture Lead in relation to D365 F&O.
- Experience leading solution design across multiple D365 functional areas such as Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, Planning, Warehouse Management, Project Operations, or related business processes.
- Experience guiding or supporting Functional Leads, business analysts, consultants, or project team members without direct people management authority.
- Experience reviewing and governing solution designs produced by internal teams and external implementation partners.
- Experience supporting large-scale D365 F&O implementations, rollouts, acquisitions, migrations, or transformation programs.
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
