Our client, a well-established and leading technology wholesaler and distributor based in Spain, is looking for an experienced JD Edwards Developer to join their team on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in JD Edwards programming, with strong hands-on development skills across interactive applications, reports and business functions. Experience working across Purchasing, Sales, Finance and EDI modules is required, alongside knowledge of BI Publisher and SQL.

This is a predominantly remote opportunity, open to candidates based anywhere in mainland Spain, with occasional visits to the company’s offices near Madrid.

Key Skills and Experience:

• JD Edwards Development: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in JD Edwards programming, with recent hands-on development experience.
• Technical Expertise: Strong experience developing and modifying interactive applications, reports and business functions within JD Edwards.
• Functional Knowledge: Experience working across JD Edwards Purchasing, Sales, Finance and System 47 (EDI) modules.
• Reporting Tools: Knowledge and experience working with BI Publisher.
• Database Skills: Good working knowledge of SQL.
• Advanced Pricing: Experience with JD Edwards Advanced Pricing would be advantageous.
• Orchestrator: Knowledge or experience with JD Edwards Orchestrator is desirable.
• Recent Programming Experience: Candidates must currently be involved in hands-on JD Edwards development or have undertaken programming work within the last two years.

Main Responsibilities:

• JD Edwards Development: Develop, modify and enhance JD Edwards applications to support business requirements.
• Application Customisation: Modify and maintain interactive applications, reports and business functions.
• Functional Support: Provide technical development expertise across Purchasing, Sales, Finance and EDI processes.
• Reporting: Work with BI Publisher to support reporting requirements.
• Database Development: Utilise SQL to support JD Edwards development and application requirements.
• System Enhancements: Support ongoing improvements and enhancements to the JD Edwards environment.
• Technical Collaboration: Work alongside internal teams to understand business requirements and deliver appropriate technical solutions.

Location: Remote Spain (Mainland) – Occasional visits to the company’s offices near Madrid.

Candidates must be eligible to work in Spain.
