Senior D365 F&O Developer

D365 F&O Developer – F&O Developer, FO Developer, D365, F&O, Dynamics 365, Finance & operations, FO, Developer, X++, LCS, visual studio, power platform – £85k-95k – UK Remote (time on-site negotiable)

Our end user client is looking for a highly skilled Senior D365 F&O Developer to lead the development and enhancement of their Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) platform. This role demands deep technical expertise, the ability to mentor junior developers, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

To be considered for this position it is essential that candidates have excellent communication skills and have the ability to speak with functional team members and understand what they’re talking about.

The role will be mainly remote and likely involve on-site working in London or Birmingham 1-2 days a week

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement customizations and integrations within the D365 F&O platform
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical
• solutions
• Optimize and improve system performance and ensure scalability
• Lead code reviews, establish best practices, and ensure adherence to coding standards
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to less experienced developers on the team
• Stay updated on new features, updates, and best practices within the D365 F&O ecosystem
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring system reliability and security

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with D365 F&O development
• Proficient in LCS, X++ and Visual Studio for D365
• Strong understanding of the D365 F&O data model, workflows, and business processes
• Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) and Azure services is a plus
• Familiarity with SQL Server, SSRS, and integration technologies like OData and REST APIs
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
