Our Microsoft partner client requires a Dynamics F&O Solution Architect with SCM bias and a functional background. In this role, you will be taking responsibility for ensuring the integrity of solutions across Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations implementation projects. You’ll coordinate consultant teams, provide expert guidance to customers on business system design and implementation, and play a key role in shaping project outcomes. In addition, you’ll contribute to the development of internal best practices and actively support presales efforts.

This position allows for flexibility regarding location within Europe, provided the candidate possesses full European working rights. Global projects may require travel and on-site work, candidates should be willing to work at home or on customer’s site approx. 1-2 times per month. In the most part, this will be European travel, however, there may be some US travel also.

 Key Skills & Experience: 

  • 10+ years’ experience in ERP delivery with at least 5 years specific to Dynamics 
  • Experience in designing solutions for various SCM modules in Dynamics 365 for FinOps
  • Minimum four full lifecycle implementations in Microsoft Dynamics (D365FO) and AX with a focus in SCM
  • Prior experience in taking a lead position within Dynamics AX / D365 F&O implementations
  • Previous experience working for a Microsoft Partner is essential
  • Excellent knowledge of SCM modules within Dynamics AX2012 and ideally D365 F&O
  • Integration experience within Dynamics AX/F&O
  • Worked within Agile and SureStep environments
  • Strong business-facing skills
  • Knowledge of architecture across multiple modules
  • Experience of common software implementation methodologies, including Life Cycle Services (LCS) and Microsoft Dynamics Sure Step
  • Excellent presentation, communication, leadership and client development skills to present information to C-level management, public groups and/or board of directors
  • Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the design and development of business processes that enhance the out of the box Dynamics functionality 
  • You’ll coordinate consultant teams
  • Provide expert guidance to customers on business system design and implementation
  • contribute to the development of internal best practices and actively support presales efforts
  • Effectively promote Dynamics capability within the business ensuring further adoption throughout the business 
  • Define training needs within the team and coach other team members 
  • Meet and exceed the businesses expectations of business knowledge, skills and behaviour 
  • Identify risks and mitigate or communicate as necessary 
  • Ensure Dynamics updates are communicated to relevant parties both formally and informally
