Our end user client require a Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant to join them on a permanent basis and be responsible for configuring, managing and maintaining their Adaptive platform alongside the wider FP&A team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing tech business, helping shape the future of its FP&A capabilities by owning and evolving its Adaptive Planning platform. You’ll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and supporting scalable planning models that empower stakeholders across the business from budgeting and forecasting to workforce planning and scenario modelling.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Hands-on experience configuring, maintaining, and enhancing Workday Adaptive Planning.
- Deep knowledge of Adaptive Planning technical architecture, including data flows, security, model structure, and scenario planning.
- Strong understanding of financial modelling, forecasting, and enterprise budgeting processes.
- Familiarity with Workday HCM components such as headcount planning, job profiles, and compensation data.
- Advanced Excel skills and a working knowledge of data integration tools or SQL-based querying.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into effective, scalable planning system solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience leading change management and adoption of new systems.
Main Responsibilities:
- Own the design, configuration, and roadmap of the Workday Adaptive Planning platform.
- Build and maintain models for budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and scenario modelling.
- Partner with FP&A, Workday Systems, and other teams to define requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
- Manage system enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and testing in partnership with internal stakeholders.
- Develop user training and change management materials to support adoption across teams.
- Monitor data quality and platform performance, responding to issues proactively.
- Serve as the go-to expert for Adaptive Planning, contributing to the continued evolution of FP&A systems.
