Our client, an IT solutions provider are looking to appoint a D365 F&O Functional SCM Consultant.  This is a remote-based position; however, candidates must ideally be located within Texas and are expected to allow up to 20% travel. This is a great opportunity to join an ever-growing organisation, whilst working on the latest version of Dynamics 365.

Key Skills:

  • Accountable for the Supply Chain modules in Dynamics 365 and understanding of the proposed solution.
  • Experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
  • Proficiency in configuring and customizing F&O modules.
  • Responsible for the Supply Chain modules by configuring the system according to requirements.
  • Problem-solving and issue-resolution skills.
  • Responsible for Supply Chain module setup, defining scope, and estimating the effort for proposals.
  • Excellent communication and prioritization skills with attention to detail and quality.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computing, or related field.
  • 4+ years’ experience as a Dynamics functional consultant.
  • 4+ years’ experience as a functional SME working with Microsoft Dynamics platforms AX/F&O.
  • Minimum two full life cycle Dynamics 365/AX implementations are required.
  • F&O/AX module experience.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Organizes and executes Analysis, Design/configuration, Implementation & delivery phases of Dynamics 365 implementation.
  • Analyzes and documents current ERP systems and associated business processes.
  • Prepares process documentation and perform gap/fit analysis to create design specifications for the new D365 Supply Chain project.
  • Executes project tasks designed to implement the full suite of Dynamics modules in close coordination with key department stakeholders.
  • Provides best practices and solution alternatives within functional/technical design documents.
  • Conducts workshops with the users, demonstrate systems, implement solutions, and present to customers.
  • Advises Talent Management on the client’s culture and identify any high-risk deliverable-based assignments.
  • Provides advisory assistance to projects and engagements to ensure successful delivery.
  • Manages the development of case studies and project summaries of each project delivered related to the service offering(s).
  • Supports development and evolution of delivery methodologies.
  • Onboards new consultants to best practice processes and approaches.
  • Helps grow the Service Offering by being available for Business Development.
  • Defines the solution design by leading Fit/Gap analysis for the solution requirements with reference to standard capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
  • Assesses how well the solution meets requirements.
  • Creates and run CRP meetings.
  • Develops and maintain service offering collateral (templates) that promote the repeatability and quality of deliverables.
  • Defines the to-be processes for Supply Chain modules.
  • Creates and run CRP meetings.
