Management Accountant – Accountant, accountancy, P&L, balance sheet, budget & forecasting, ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA, prepayments, depreciation, double entry bookkeeping, Audit, Financial Planning & Analysis, FP&A, reporting, Cost Control, Cost Analysis, CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW – Gloucester/UK Remote – £250 – £300 a day – Outside IR35

Our end user client requires an interim Management Accountant to deliver management accounts for a newly acquired business. This will be for an initial 6 month engagement.

This position requires 1-2 days a week on-site in Gloucester ideally.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Fully qualified ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA
• 3-5 years post qualified experience to include P&L’s, balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments, and depreciation
• Excellent understanding of double entry bookkeeping
• A good understanding of end-to-end financial processes and controls
• Excellent communication & relationship management skills

Main Responsibilities:

• Support the preparation of P&L account, balance sheet, budget & forecasting activities
• Preparation of month end for both the profit and loss account and balance sheet
• Commercial price changes and all associated activity
• Full ownership of month end tasks from preparation through to posting journals and reconciliations
• Production of financial statements and applications
• Preparation of spreadsheets, reports and correspondence as required
• Support the year end Audit process
• Preparation of month end Packs
• Balance sheet reconciliations

Location: Gloucester/UK Remote
