A leading global end user client of ours are seeking an IT Product Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will become the organisation’s subject matter expert for D365FO and you will play a pivotal role in the development and management of the suite of enterprise software solutions. The successful candidate will be comfortable collaborating with different organisational layers and coordinate with business and technology teams defining, planning, and refining the work to be completed to achieve them. The position requires a deep understanding of Dynamics 365 F&O.

The client is based in Coventry and the expectation is to come into the office once or twice a month.

Key skills and Experience:

  • Communicate, outline and implement a strong strategy, whilst ensuring that the balance of current processes are adhered to and that the operating model, service levels, resources and cost-base are fit for purpose to support overall strategy.
  • Reduce costs and improve business efficiency within the businesses environment by promoting collaboration & digital workplace
  • Recognise business activities and its aspirations, through culture and strategy as to ensure the effective and delivery of technology to support overall strategy.
  • Maintain and improve service delivery levels and formulate a shared service method for all business units.
  • Understand customer needs, validate solutions, and serve as primary product expert
  • Lead development, design of products and the release process for relevant products and maintain development road map.
  • Lead the virtual team with the support of the Architects, Business Change & Service Delivery. Ensure external and internal resources  both internal resources and 3rd party partners have the capability to deliver against the plan.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement to products and services to maximise adoption & value from investments.
  • Continuous monitoring of all technologies to ensure they are up to date to current release and how this may impact innovation initiatives.
  • Identify risks to innovation and to deliverables, by managing stakeholder expectations.

Ensure that solutions support business outcomes through engaging with all stakeholders and make sure they can be easily communicated and understood.

  • Managing all contracts in relation to the IT systems and delivering to required standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • The IT Product Manager will be responsible for leading the implementation of the company’s future IT strategy, as well as operating and maintaining the existing systems and infrastructure.
  • To work hand-in-hand with IT colleagues to ensure the unified delivery of IT to drive benefit across the business
  • To focus on the business and their customers to ensure business requirements and needs are turned into solutions.
  • With the aim to become a trusted advisor within the business through building positive relationships with all stakeholders.
  • With primary focus on Procurements, HR, Finance and Payroll systems with the live D365 system and to take ownership of developing, maintaining and reporting with regards to service levels to the business.

Location:  Coventry/ Remote
