Our end user client requires a Senior Power Platform Developer to work on the technical development of their application, moving beyond standard configuration to build high-performance, scalable solutions that automate complex legal and financial workflows.
This position can be completed on a fully remote basis in the UK.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience delivering production-grade solutions within Dynamics 365 and the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Strong experience building Power Automate workflows and business process automation.
- Solid experience developing and maintaining Power Pages (ADX Studio) solutions.
- Strong JavaScript expertise, including experience with modern tooling and bundlers such as Webpack, Rollup, or esbuild.
- Experience developing Dynamics plugins and custom server-side logic.
- Strong, hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and Git-based source control (essential).
- Experience developing Canvas Apps within the Power Platform.
- Familiarity with HTML development and/or PCF components.
- Experience supporting data migrations, SQL queries, or SSIS-based integrations.
- Exposure to Azure services (e.g., Function Apps, API Management, Key Vault, Storage Accounts, Application Insights, Entra) is desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Own the design and development of solutions using Dynamics 365 and the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Build and maintain robust Power Automate workflows, business logic, and integrations.
- Develop and maintain Power Pages (ADX Studio) functionality and customisations to a high standard.
- Create and maintain well-structured, reusable JavaScript and TypeScript components.
- Develop server-side functionality including plugins and integrations where required.
- Design and contribute to integration solutions leveraging Azure services such as Function Apps, API Management, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, Application Insights, and Entra (desirable but advantageous).
- Take responsibility for development testing, ensuring all work is production-ready and meets a high bar for quality before handover.
- Actively support testers by diagnosing issues, reproducing defects, and delivering timely, effective fixes.
- Provide ongoing support for live systems, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolving production issues.
- Contribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Apply strong Git and source control practices across all work.
- Support data migrations and integrations, including working with SQL-based data where required.
- Work effectively within an Agile environment, committing to and delivering work within sprint timelines.
- Contribute meaningfully to sprint ceremonies, ensuring transparency, raising risks early, and adapting based on feedback.
- Proactively research, evaluate, and apply new technologies where they add value.
- Produce clear technical documentation and contribute to development standards.
