PowerApps Developer – D365, Dynamics365, Dynamics 365, F&O, Finance & Operations, FinOps, F&SCM, Finance & Supply Chain Management, FSCM, PowerApps, PowerAutomate, Flow, Developer, Technical Consultant, Development, Customization – $100,000 – $125,000 per annum – Minnesota
Our industry leading manufacturing client is seeking a PowerApps Developer to create customisations using PowerApps/PowerAutomate. Prior experience working at a discrete manufacturer is essential for this role.
Mix of remote and on-site work at locations in Minnesota and North Dakota – candidates must be within one of these 2 states or able to relocate there. Candidates must be US citizens or green card holders to be considered for this role.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of hands-on development experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, specifically Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) and Power Automate.
- Proven experience in integrating Power Platform solutions with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (or previous versions like AX 2012) is highly beneficial.
- Solid understanding of Dataverse (formerly Common Data Service) and its role in D365 integration.
- Proficiency with API design and consumption (OData, REST) for data integration.
- Experience with Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, Logic Apps) is a plus.
- Functional understanding of key manufacturing processes (e.g., Production Control, Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Warehousing) is highly beneficial.
- Experience working in an agile or DevOps environment.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Microsoft Certification in Power Platform (e.g., PL-200, PL-400) or Dynamics 365 is highly desirable.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy Canvas and Model-Driven Power Apps for various business functions (e.g., shop floor data collection, quality control, warehouse management).
- Create complex business process automation using Power Automate (flows) to integrate Power Apps with D365 F&O, Dataverse, and other enterprise systems.
- Manage data connections and ensure secure, efficient data flow between Power Platform components and D365 F&O.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and Functional Consultants to translate operational requirements into technical specifications and user-friendly solutions.
- Ensure all custom applications adhere to corporate standards, best practices, and security policies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest features and updates across the Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform stack.
