Senior Supply Chain Consultant – MS Dynamics 365, D365, D365FO, AX 2012, SCM, WMS, ERP, Functional Consultant, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, Functional Design, FDD, Implementation, Support, Copenhagen – 1,000 DKK per hour

We are looking for a Senior Supply Chain Consultant (D365FO) to support a new program focused on service and subscription-led operations, as part of a wider global ERP transformation. Initial work will be heavily focused on functional design, clarifying business processes, defining requirements, and producing high-quality functional documentation including Functional Design Documents (FDDs).

You will play a key role in designing a global ERP and WMS template in close cooperation with a large project team of internal and external consultants. Alongside project delivery, the role also includes supporting complex supply chain and WMS incidents where escalation beyond application support is required.

This position is on-site in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an ERP Supply Chain Consultant (SCM) or WMS Consultant, ideally with Dynamics AX 2012 and or Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365FO)
• Strong functional consulting capability across supply chain, with the ability to translate business needs into workable D365FO solutions
• Proven experience producing functional documentation, including process clarification, requirements specification, and FDDs
• Experience designing and implementing value-adding solutions across ERP and WMS workstreams
• Comfortable operating within formal IT governance, change control, and delivery frameworks
• Strong stakeholder management skills and a service-oriented mindset, with clear and confident communication at all levels
• Hands-on experience supporting complex incidents and problem resolution (third-tier or escalation support)
• Ability to work autonomously with high self-motivation and a proactive delivery approach
• Experience in multinational environments preferred
• Relevant Microsoft ERP or WMS certifications are beneficial
• Advanced Warehousing knowledge is not required
• Fluent English (speaking, writing, reading, understanding)

Responsibilities:

• Understand business needs and document end-to-end processes across supply chain and warehouse operations
• Lead functional design activity, including requirements gathering and production of functional documentation (including FDDs)
• Design and implement value-adding solutions in WMS and ERP within D365FO
• Assess and initiate projects and change requests, ensuring compliance with internal governance processes
• Manage third-tier incident and problem resolution for critical or complex ERP and WMS issues where required
• Facilitate communication and coordination with development teams through build, test and deployment, ensuring alignment to priorities
• Support operational readiness through user training and creation or maintenance of documentation such as system overviews and work instructions
• Ensure effective handover into BAU support and provide escalation back-up for second-tier support when needed
