Our client, an IT Solutions provider, are looking for a Microsoft Dynamics Administrator to maintain and manage the production environments across D365 Finance and Operations, and Infrastructure Systems, in line with business goals and objectives. The successful candidate must have experience of administering Microsoft Dynamics 365.

This is a permanent, full time position which will involve up to 10% travel. Our client is ideally looking for Texas based candidates. All applicants must be either US citizens or green card holders as sponsorship is not offered for this role.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computing or related field
  • Working knowledge of programming methodologies, structures, and concepts
  • 4+ years’ experience as a Dynamics administrator or similar Dynamics related role
  • 1+ years’ experience as a functional SME working with Microsoft Dynamics platforms AX/F&O, etc
  • Organize and execute Analysis, Design/configuration, Implementation & delivery phases of Dynamics 365 implementations
  • Excellent communication and prioritization skills with attention to detail and quality
  • Experience with full life cycle Dynamics 365/AX implementations
  • Experience with full software development life cycle methodologies
  • Ability to effectively diagram and clearly communicate software and technical concepts to all business units
  • General knowledge of network, PC operations system, network hardware, protocol, and standards
  • Adheres to IT standards & procedures (SDLC, ITIL, etc)
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Experience with standard software design practices and refactoring techniques

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for various ERP modules in Dynamics 365
  • Recommends, implements, and monitors security auditing and alerting solutions.
  • Assures the quality of the solution and related project deliverables
  • Administers solutions by configuring the system according to requirements
  • Maintains user confidence and protect operations by maintaining the integrity of information in a confidential manner
  • Works closely with business units and external customers to establish the development systems design
  • Works with Microsoft Lifecycle Services and the associated tools in support of D365 F&O and Supply Chain ERP project implementations
  • Deploys new D365 instances in the Microsoft Azure cloud
  • Supports and troubleshoots current Dynamics configurations and coding
  • D365 database management including backups, recovery, disaster recovery, moving databases (instances) to new environments or restoring the system to a specific point in time etc. using Microsoft “Data ALM” process
  • Refreshes instance to create copies (Sandbox, DevTest, CRP, UAT etc) from either “Gold” or Production instances. Experience supporting PITR (Point in Time Restore) of Production instances to a sandbox environment is highly preferred
  • Develop documentation, automation, and assistance tools in effort to support all users
